18. Rainbow

I never expected so much support for this photo. o.O Thank you so much for all of the favourites, views, comments and requests from groups! <3

To those asking for a recipe, I just made a normal batch of vanilla sponge cupcakes and iced them using;
Normal icing with blue food colouring for the sky
Sugar stars like these: [link]
Butter icing for the clouds - the rainbows stick better to butter icing, and the clouds hold their shape. (It's best to let the blue icing dry a little prior to adding the clouds)
Fizzy rainbow belts (I stuck 2 together with some icing and let them dry curled around a rolling pin, so they were more sturdy and didn't bend)

Just a photograph of some cupcakes I made for a friend's birthday on the 21st. :3 I'd seen the idea a few times before, and always wanted to try making some - her birthday seemed just the occasion!

This photo also nicely fits in with one of the 100 themes.
