This is for the #blue-club's Mini Contest : Deep Blue Ocean

I thought it would be fun, so i've entered at the last minute

I'm not entirely sure which category to put this in... because I started in pastels, but then decided to paint over it in gimp~ So I've decided it's more digital now, than traditional, soooo it's in digital paintings....... EDIT: Moved to Digital Art> Mixed Media

This was just an experiment really, I made bits of it up as I went along

I don't really like how this came out... But hey, it's good practice

i love this reminds me of a picture i did in high school i love pastel art you have to have a very good hand and ability to get as good as this well done xx

Oh yeah blue

!!The title fits perfectly to your work, which desbribes exactly the atmosphere.On the below side it seems like these drops of rain falls on the ocean alarming for earths help, which then wakes the light angelic rings and they seems like they want to save the world.

Another thing what I like about your work is, of course, the girl.Shes definitely the queen of the ocean!The contrast + colours + veryveryvery slight shading + soft outlines + her facial expression (she seems a bit worried, but her smile reveals a wish for hope) = excellent!
